  • I met Mike and the PFP team when my oldest son joined their middle school strength and conditioning classes and had great results. I always thought I should join the... read more adult class but never did until January 2018 when I received an email from Mike in regards to “investing in yourself” and the fact that as you get older we naturally lose muscle and replace it with fat. I decided then to give it a shot since I wasn’t getting any younger and I wanted to be just as active later in life for my newborn as I was for my teenager. Fast-forward to today and I’ve put in 175 classes, lost 15 lbs, have more muscle definition than I did 15 years ago, and a lot more energy. I’ve also met many like-minded adults of all ages who have great attitudes and are always ready for an efficient workout. The trainers are very encouraging and knowledgeable. They work with you very well no matter what your fitness level and can modify the exercise move to best meet your level or need. I highly recommend giving it a try…..you owe it to yourself and your loved ones!

She originally signed up to build strength post injury with the intent build a foundation to reduce injuries moving forward. Her speed, strength, agility, and confidence have all improved and she has not experienced any injuries. Most importantly it is something she looks forward to attending each session. The trainers challenge you in a very positive way. For someone who has not previously trained at a club the concern going in was would it be intimidating and I found it to be anything but intimidating for newcomers.

Initially I was a bit intimidated since I have never attempted anything like this before. However, there is a sense of community right when you walk through the door, trainers and athletes alike. The trainers are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I particularly enjoy the format of the classes as they include both strength and cardio. She... read more was not projected to make varsity, mostly because she was thought to be too small, so we knew that we had to do something to stand out. Training with Mike and his Premier staff made her quicker and significantly stronger. After the tryouts, her coach remarked that the girl was all over the place scrimmage after scrimmage and stood out so much that the coach said there was no way she could keep her off the varsity team. And then last fall she started every game and had the stamina and conditioning to play all 80 mins in most of them (and also ended up being the second-leading scorer on the team). We can't say enough about how Premier prepared our daughter for HS soccer and we highly recommend Premier.

I proceeded to continue training with PSC throughout the end of my Junior year in high school. I had achieved more in my junior year in track than I had expected. I was bigger, stronger, faster, and qualified for the regional meet at Austintown Fitch in 3 events. My senior year, 2006, I placed second in the state for Boys long jump all thanks to the reminders and tips Mike and the other trainers had worked with me throughout my time at PSC. Results will come but sticking with the process is what PSC is about. I still recommend Mike and his crew to athletes of all ages and all athletic activity because I trust what PSC can do for everyone. Please look into PSC if your passionate about your sport or ready to start a path towards exceling in athletics.

The circuit training is kind of fun and the people are great! The individual exercises vary each time you go so you rarely do the same thing twice. I like that. It's not monotonous or boring and the instructors are very encouraging. I recommend Premier for both kids and adults. It's very reasonably priced and comes highly recommended from both current and former athletes as well as middle-aged folks like me who need an organized class to keep me motivated.

I competed in Track and Field at a D1 college and was well prepared mentally and physically because of the support I received at PSC.
